Project Description
This study was designed as a comprehensive evaluation of the influence and reach of religious sermons delivered within the Auqaf-registered mosque network. In a large-scale, coordinated effort, our team successfully engaged with 314 mosques, ensuring a broad and representative sample size across the targeted regions. The methodology prioritized direct interaction and authentic data collection; researchers conducted face-to-face interviews at the entrances of these mosques, effectively capturing the immediate sentiments of attendees as they concluded their prayers.
To ensure uniformity and depth in the qualitative data, researchers utilized standardized scripts provided to the Imams, allowing us to measure the direct impact of the content being communicated. A key innovation of this research was our multi-layered approach to audience engagement: we extended the scope beyond the male congregants by conducting structured interviews with the wives of the Namazis. To bridge the gap in outreach and ensure privacy and convenience, our field team utilized Android-based devices to carry out seamless phone surveys.
This project was defined by its operational rigour and commitment to high-quality data integrity. By combining on-site physical presence with integrated mobile survey technology, we managed to bridge the gap between religious discourse and the everyday experiences of the congregants and their families. Upon completion of the fieldwork, the consolidated raw data was meticulously processed, cleaned, and handed over to the client’s analytical team, providing them with a robust foundation for evaluating the efficacy of these sermons and their resulting socio-economic impact on the community.
Services Provided
To ensure the successful execution of this large-scale study, Versatile Consultants deployed a full-service operational framework characterized by rigorous management and high-level technical expertise. Our primary commitment was to data quality and reliability, which began with the recruitment of a highly skilled and extensively experienced workforce. We assembled a dedicated team of professionals equipped with the field-level expertise necessary to navigate the complexities of social and religious research environments.
Our operational capacity was substantial, utilizing a bifurcated strategy to maximize reach. We mobilized a specialized team of 10 female enumerators to conduct sensitive and efficient phone-based surveys, while a massive field force—comprising 170 supervisors and enumerators—was deployed to conduct ground-level data collection. This scale allowed us to maintain a consistent presence at all 314 locations, ensuring every target group was reached effectively.
Beyond mere recruitment, we focused on precision and accountability through the development of a meticulously designed tracking sheet. This internal control system allowed our project managers to monitor the real-time progress of each data collection team, ensuring that every interview was conducted according to protocol and that milestones were met within the required timelines.
Ultimately, our role was to serve as a reliable bridge between field reality and strategic analysis. By integrating the primary data collected through both telephonic outreach and intensive site visits, we ensured that the final dataset was comprehensive and high-quality. This clean, structured raw data was then seamlessly transitioned to the client, providing their analytical team with the precise information required to derive actionable insights from the field.
